Village Hall Stormwater Project, Greenwood Lake NY

DTM Development, Ltd. was awarded the construction contract for this “Green Initiative” project which involved major storm water management at the Greenwood Lake Village Hall. This management plan also involved the creation of 2 parking areas and a new courtyard. The scope of services included reclamation of the existing asphalt, a new “rain garden” with landscaping, a new vegetated swale with landscaping and check dams, a new Uni-Lock permeable paver system and sub-base for 2 parking areas and walkways in front of the Village Hall and within the courtyard and a new “Greenscreen” system and wood trellis for the courtyard. Additional work included underground catch basins and drainage, new Belgian block curbs, new septic system and new energy efficient site lighting. The project was funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and subject to “Buy American” standards, the NYS Environmental Facilities Corp., and the US Environmental Protection Agency.

     


DTM Development, Ltd. was awarded the construction contract for this new Highway Department Building in Crawford, New York, which consisted of a one story, 14,000 square foot, pre-engineered steel structure with metal wall panels, split faced block exterior walls and a standing seam metal roof. The offices, bathrooms with a locker area, parts room, and kitchen area are separated from service garage with a 2 hour rated, concrete block barrier wall. The mechanical systems include a radiant floor heating system and a ducted, cool air overhead system. The garage has a pitched concrete slab which leads to an interior trench drain and an oil-water separator. The office area has sloped interior concrete slabs that ramp to several areas for ADA accessibility. Site development included underground site structures and piping for storm-water management.


 

DTM Development, Ltd. was awarded the construction contract for a new, Highway Department/Police Evidence Building which consisted of a one story, 7,000 square foot, pre-engineered steel structure with offices, bathrooms, and garage spaces. The interior walls of the police evidence side were all constructed with concrete block and the ceilings were constructed with metal stud/drywall framing. The DPW and Police Evidence garages both have trench drains with under slab piping. There is a large overhang for the exterior storage of DPW equipment. The mechanical systems included forced hot and cool air capability. Site development included underground site structures for storm water and sewer, a well, a macadam drive all around the building, and landscaping.
